Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I in Sioux Center, IA to keep production running by maintaining and repairing plant equipment. This hands-on role requires the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned systems, with a 3rd shift from 10pm to 8am and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Minimum education includes vocational/technical training with 3–4 years in maintenance and a high school diploma; emergency response and safety procedures are essential for this role.

Keep production running smoothly by maintaining and improving the equipment that powers our operations. As a Maintenance Mechanic I, you will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and installations while supporting equipment reliability within a designated area of the facility. You will serve as a subject matter expert for your assigned process, helping troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent performance. This role is ideal for a hands-on, mechanically inclined professional who enjoys problem solving, working with equipment, and contributing to safe, efficient operations.
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $5,000, rewarding your decision to join the team and contribute to our success.
