Job summary

Gellert Global Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3pm–11pm) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, machinery, and equipment. Work under general supervision according to SOPs.

You will diagnose malfunctions, repair with hand/power tools, read blueprints, and ensure GMP and safety compliance. Flexibility and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience in related field.
• General knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and safety rules.
• Forklift operation capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts.
• Repair and replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Move and transport furniture and equipment as needed.
• Understand GMP, SOPs and health & safety rules; follow procedures.

This is a 2nd shift position Monday through Friday 3pm 11pm Hours may vary based on business need SummaryObjective The Maintenance Mechanics job is to perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities buildings and equipment under general supervision The responsibilities are to execute work within established procedures and processes with both verbal and written instructions

Essential Functions

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines run smoothly building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorateInspect operate and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctionsClean and lubricate shafts bearing gears and other parts of machineryRepair and replace defective equipment parts using hand tools power tools and reassemble equipmentMove and assist in transportation of furniture and equipmentUnderstanding of Good Manufacturing Practices GMP and Standard Operating Procedures SOP and other health and safety rules regulations policies and proceduresOther duties assigned as needed
