Job summary

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts, conveyors, motors, and drives.
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to support production needs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and lift as required for maintenance work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and support equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and restore machinery to proper operating condition.
  • Inspect machines, components, and systems to identify wear, damage, or performance concerns.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Complete work orders and document maintenance activity accurately.
  • Support equipment changeovers, adjustments, and production line improvements.
  • Partner with operators, supervisors, engineers, and maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all Parker‑Hannifin safety requirements, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Parker-Hannifin is seeking a skilled Production Mechanic to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping production running at a high level.

The Production Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment and related systems. This position supports manufacturing performance by diagnosing mechanical issues, completing repairs, performing preventive maintenance, and partnering with production teams to reduce downtime.

The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Work Four 10-Hour Days

  • Welding, fabrication, machining, or millwright experience.
  • Experience with automated equipment, PLC-controlled machinery, or electrical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or root cause analysis practices.
