Job summary

Vertical Converting dba Sierra Hygiene Products in Frostburg, MD is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic to join the 2nd shift.

The role involves preventive maintenance, repair, asset management, and supporting operations with changeovers. Hours are Mon-Thu 4:15 pm – 2:45 am at the Frostburg plant.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend basic English.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Experience with computerized maintenance systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular preventive maintenance functions, observations, and inspections on production equipment.
• Machine repair and troubleshooting
• Asset Management – regularly review, order and adjust spare parts inventory
• Assist operations at times, with changeovers and equipment operations
• Work flexible hours as needed

Vertical Converting dba Sierra Hygiene Products is looking for an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic to work 2nd shift. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 4:15 pm to 2:45 am. Vertical Converting is a paper converting manufacturer located in Frostburg and Cumberland, MD. This position is for the Frostburg plant.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular preventive maintenance functions, observations, and inspections on production equipment.
• Machine repair and troubleshooting
• Asset Management – regularly review, order and adjust spare parts inventory
• Assist operations at times, with changeovers and equipment operations
• Work flexible hours as needed

Requirements

Education/Experience
