Job description

Maintenance Mechanic
Shift: 2nd (Monday-Friday) 2 PM - 10:30 PM or 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday) 10 PM - 6:30 AM
Pay: $25/hour+ based on experience
Job Description:
A Maintenance Mechanic's responsibilities include keeping all production machinery in a "ready for service" condition by performing preventative maintenance, as scheduled by our maintenance management software, as well as taking care of day-to-day maintenance issues.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Repair & maintain all plant machinery & equipment
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions & operating difficulties
  • Determine need for & effect machine repairs & adjustments to maintain a reliable operation
  • Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc.
  • Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: 2+ years in maintenance work required
Hard Skills:
  • Basic knowledge & skills in pneumatics, electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, rigging, equipment installation, machine rebuilding, motor & drive alignment, measuring equipment & fabrication
  • Read blueprints
  • Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment & procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math knowledge
  • English reading, writing, & speaking proficiency
  • Safety-focused mindset
