Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Maintenance Associate Mechanic in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining plant equipment to OEM specs, supporting production goals and a safe work environment.

The position requires at least 3 years of experience, HS diploma, and familiarity with thermoforming machines. Shift options include 2nd and 3rd shifts with differential pay and weekly pay. Beneficial skills include electrical troubleshooting and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Thermoforming machines experience preferred.
• No more than 4 attendance points (Internal).
• No Step 2 disciplinary action in the last year (Internal).

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain all production machines and plant facility equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures including pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams for installation/repair.
• Complete oil and lubrication cycles per manufacturer schedule.
• Maintain a safe, clean working area and document maintenance in the CM system.
