Job summary

Agri-Mark, Inc. is seeking a regular, full-time Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) at the Cabot Creamery facility in West Springfield, MA. The role covers general maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will perform multiple maintenance functions, including electrical, electronics, plumbing, mechanical, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, and refrigeration. Overtime, weekends and shift rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance in a plant setting.
• Ability to perform multiple maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, welding and refrigeration.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays and rotate shift as needed.
• Starting pay range provided and wage increases over 24 months.

Our dairy cooperative is seeking a regular, full-time Maintenance Mechanic on 1st Shift (7:00am-3:00pm).

Key responsibilities:

• Provide for the general maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities in any given area of the plant.
• Demonstrate basic skills performance in several of the primary maintenance functions: Electricity, Electronics, Plumbing-copper-black iron, Mechanical, Machine Shop/Millwright, Welding/Stick-black iron-stainless steel-aluminum, Welding/Tig-stainless steel pipe (sanitary)-aluminum, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Refrigeration.

Schedule flexibility necessary, willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays and rotate shift, as required by business needs. At times overtime, holiday work and shift rotation will be mandatory.

Starting pay range: $32.25-$36.51/hr.

This position is also eligible for wage increases for the first 24 months.
