Job description

Maintenance Mechanic / 1st and 2nd Shift

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Repairs minor problems of buildings and foundations, including the roof, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and all mechanical contents of the building.
  2. Communicates any health and/or safety concerns or violations immediately to management.
  3. Uses knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical processes to troubleshoot machinery in a safe and skilled manner.
  4. Maintains machines in proper working condition at all times.
  5. Applies general knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting, and masonry work as needed.
  6. Adheres to established policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.
  7. Applies knowledge of operations to prioritize duties as required.
  8. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
  9. Responsible for following food quality and safety guidelines.
  10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
