Job summary

KX Technologies LLC is hiring a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures in West Haven, CT. The role involves troubleshooting automation cells, robots, and facility systems, plus performing preventative maintenance and updating procedures.

You’ll train new staff, manage parts in MaintainX CMMS, and coordinate with vendors as needed. The candidate should have strong electro-mechanical and controls skills, read schematics, and hold a CT driver’s

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Capable of reading and interpreting diagrams for controls and electrical circuits.
• Proficient with measurement tools (DMM) and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, automation cells, robots, and facility systems.
• Install production machinery and related facility hardware and systems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all machinery.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Order tools and inventory parts; manage work orders in MaintainX CMMS.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; maintain work areas and tools.
• Create and maintain job procedures (LOTO, Preventive Maintenance).
• Other duties as assigned by Manufacturing and Maintenance Supervisor.

Conducts general maintenance activities primarily on machinery and related equipment. Maintains repair and maintenance records. Troubleshoots problems and escalates the most complex issues to senior coworkers.
