Job summary

Trotter Workforce in Berks County, PA is seeking a skilled manufacturing maintenance professional to inspect, repair, and uphold production and packaging machinery. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical proficiency with PLCs and related controls to keep line equipment running smoothly.

You will document service logs, communicate major repair needs to management, and maintain a safe work environment while adapting to changing priorities and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills for machinery and packaging equipment including PLCs, drives, motors, 3 phase 480 volt, sensors, photo eyes, limit switches, etc.
• 7+ years of manufacturing mechanic experience
• Experience with repairs on conveyors of various sizes
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspects, repairs, modifies, and maintains the production and packaging machinery
• Creates and maintains up to date service logs/data files for equipment and machinery
