Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

Maintenance Mechanic

Hours: Full Time

Pay: $19 - $30 per hour
(based on experience)

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for performing general mechanical and preventative tasks, as well as performing inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls on hospital equipment as directed.

• Installing all new equipment and systems as assigned, ensuring installations and operations comply with manufacturer’s specifications, all applicable codes, regulations, and hospital safety policies.
• Coordinating and inspecting projects to ensure they meet quality standards within approved timeframes and comply with city/state codes and JACHO standards.
• Carrying out routine and specific assignments to ensure the physical plant and equipment are in safe operating condition and in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory or accrediting standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.

Preferred qualifications that will contribute to your success:

• Trade or vocational school background preferred.
