Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a maintenance technician for our Distribution Center in Lawton, OK. You will inspect, repair, and maintain facility assets, conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related equipment, while following PM schedules and safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, an Associate’s or technical degree, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Shift: 2B, Tue-Fri, evenings; pay range aligns with the posted rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or technical certificate in mechanical/electrical field.
• 2-year vocational/technical certificate or degree preferred in mechanical/electrical.
• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Welding, burning and cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages (e.g., Crown PM, Gage) and equipment.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards and LOTO.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the facility and conveyance systems.
• Follow PM standards and document work in asset management system.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance while troubleshooting assets.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Other duties to support DC operations as needed.

OVERVIEW

Shift: 2B: Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a

Rate: $29.55/hr. + $1/hr. shift dif

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Areas of expertise must include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
• Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and it’s operational needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate‘s Degree
• 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
• 3-5 years of experience
• Welding, burning, cutting
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
• Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
• Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
• Good safety awareness
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO

Targeted Pay Range: $29.55 - $42.90. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
