Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Complete reactive maintenance on production lines and repair mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.

• Disassemble/assemble machines and tear down/repair as needed.
• Collaborate with operators to meet daily production schedules.
• Experience in Structural Foam, Blow Molding, or Injection Molding is a plus.
• Safely operate a forklift; perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:The Maintenance Mechanic position maintains, troubleshoots issues, fixes, and improves equipment used inplastics and metals operations. Maintains good housekeeping in any area assigned and ensures that allcompany policies and safety rules are followed on any shift positioned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Execute preventative maintenance according to the schedule to minimize equipment downtime.Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairingmechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems• Use troubleshooting skills to identify and solve equipment improvements• Complete machine tear down/repair and assembly• Work with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met• Experience in Structural Foam, Blow Molding, or Injection Molding.• Conduct equipment inspections and verification of proper working conditions• Safely operate a forklift• Complete other job-related duties and special projects as assignedABILITY TO/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:• Must understand and follow all departmental safety rules• Understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)• ISO sections pertaining to the positionQUALIFICATIONS:• 3-5 years of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
