Job summary

Prudential Overall Supply in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, support facility systems, and help with general upkeep in a team‑oriented environment.

Ideal candidates have basic knowledge of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, can read blueprints, and are comfortable using power tools and lifting equipment.

Qualifications

• Some experience repairing industrial equipment (manufacturing, laundry, or cleanroom environments preferred)
• Applicable military experience strongly considered
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Blueprint and diagram reading
• Ability to safely use power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools
• Experience with boilers, HVAC systems, wastewater processing, etc is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with support from Plant Management
• Maintain facility systems including water, mechanical, and production equipment
• Assist with general facility upkeep (carpentry, painting, custodial tasks)
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and participate in safety initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and professionally
• Support special projects, including off-shift or weekend work as needed
• Complete additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
