Qualifications

  • Must have three plus years of industrial machinery maintenance experience.
  • Broad technical training (high school plus 1 to 2 years of apprenticeship or applied trades training).
  • Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment; multi-craft experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
  • Organizational experience with CMMS preferred.

A Mechanical Technician is commonly expected to know how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial mechanical systems, apparatus and mechanical components of industrial machinery and equipment. You will be expected to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery. You work daily to ensure assigned areas of responsibility are working with risk lowered to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) specifically to achieve “ZERO HARM” so no injuries, illness or negative impact occurs to employees, property, the environment or the community. You will use your technical expertise to ensure the equipment is functioning accordingly to produce within quality specs and with the designed performance. To be successful in this role you will:

Requirements and Education:
