Job summary

ATCO Rubber Products Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift to repair and maintain production equipment, including motors and conveyors. Reports to the Production Supervisor.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, read manuals and work orders, and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards. This full-time, on-site role offers $17.09–$23.75 per hour with a $0.25 second-shift differential, 401(k) and comprehensive

Responsibilities

ATCO – Maintenance Mechanic – Fort Worth,TX (GP Assembly on-Site)

ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic

The maintenance mechanic position conducts repairs and maintains machinery and equipment such as motors, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance service. Reports to the Production supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions
• Evaluate equipment in operation and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.

• Repair/replace defective parts. Lubricate and clean parts.
• Understand and follow Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
• Perform all other relevant tasks as assigned by Lead Mechanics

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Attention to detail for ensuring quality and accuracy
• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Proficient Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred
• Basic computer skills when ordering replacement parts
• Being able to stand and move around for long periods if needed
• Teamwork and communication skills

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time 2nd shift position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday,

2:30PM – 11:00PM

Must be available to provide occasional overtime support

Range: $17.09 - $23.75 hourly

Shift Differential: 2nd shift $0.25

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years related experience

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
