Job summary

Guardian Glass in DeWitt, IA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep plant equipment and facilities in top electrical and mechanical condition to support continuous production.

You will set up and operate equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and maintain reliability and efficiency. Basic computer skills are required; two years of related maintenance experience and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings are preferred.

• Experience in maintenance in industrial, military, agricultural or manufacturing environments.
• Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Two or more years of maintenance experience in related environments.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical machine drawings.

Guardian Glass is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic at our DeWitt, IA plant. Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for ensuring that plant equipment and facilities are kept in good electrical/mechanical repair and working order, enabling a continuous production mode.

Hours of Operation

The facility operates on a multi-shift schedule to maintain continuous production. Both 10-hour and 12-hour shifts are utilized. Specific shift assignments will be determined at the time of hire based on operational needs and may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $ 32.00-$40.00 an hour based on experience
