Job summary

Miller Castings INC is seeking an experienced technician to maintain equipment and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic components on our production line. The role requires strong reading of electrical/schematics and blueprints, plus welding experience, with an emphasis on high voltage work.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, replace defective parts, and repair hydraulic cylinders and valves in a loud, hot, dusty environment. Overtime and shift expectations apply.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in electrical industrial work including high voltage.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
• Welding experience required.
• Willing to perform special functional and structural work as needed.
• Ability to operate in loud, hot, dusty production environments.

Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining equipment troubleshooting on electrical and hydraulic components.

Salary range: $32.00 - $36.00/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintaining equipment running
• performing preventive maintenance
• remove or replace defective components
• repair rebuilt hydraulic cylinders
• hydraulic valves.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Must have at least 5 years of experience in:

• reading electrical schematics
• hydraulic system schematics
• blue prints
• 5 years of electrical industrial experience in high voltage
• Ability to organize and / prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Welding experience
• Will perform special functional and structural work when needed

1- Day Shift Opening- Hours are from 6am - 2:30pm- Monday through Friday- Overtime Work required depending on department demands. Must be available to work nights and weekends
