Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. seeks a Maintenance, Material Management, and Logistics SME to support CNSP as part of the Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT). You will provide expert guidance on Navy maintenance, 3-M, shipboard logistics, and parts procurement to strengthen readiness and repair capability.

Based in San Diego with extensive CONUS and OCONUS travel, the role requires direct engagement with shipboard personnel and adherence to Navy procedures. A SECRET clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience using and managing the Navy 3-M System.
• Experience comparable to a Navy 3-M Coordinator or ship's Maintenance and Material Officer.
• Direct experience within the last five years using shipboard maintenance management and logistics databases.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Navy procedures for repair and replacement part procurement.
• Experience equivalent to a Navy Quality Assurance Officer with knowledge of QA processes.

Overview

The Maintenance, Material Management, and Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) supports Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific Fleet (CNSP) as part of the Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT). The RATT provides direct, Sailor-centric training and technical assistance to surface ships to improve technical proficiency, material condition, organic repair capability, and overall readiness.

The Maintenance, Material Management, and Logistics SME provides expert-level guidance in Navy maintenance and material management, shipboard logistics, repair and replacement part procurement, and quality assurance. Working directly with shipboard personnel, the SME helps strengthen maintenance management practices, improve material readiness, and enhance the crew's ability to effectively manage shipboard maintenance and logistics requirements.

Location

San Diego, CA, with extensive travel in support of shipboard RATT visits throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience using and managing the Navy Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) System
• Experience comparable to that of a Navy Command 3-M Coordinator (3-MC) or ship's Maintenance and Material Officer
• Direct experience within the last five years using shipboard maintenance management and logistics databases currently employed by the U.S. Navy
• Comprehensive knowledge of Navy procedures and requirements for repair and replacement part procurement
• Experience equivalent to that of a Navy Quality Assurance Officer (QAO), with comprehensive knowledge of current Navy quality assurance processes
• Ability and willingness to support extensive CONUS and OCONUS travel for shipboard RATT visits

• Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance
