Job summary

CertainTeed Ceilings, a Saint-Gobain division, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You will lead the maintenance team to maximize equipment reliability and drive proactive improvement using World Class Manufacturing principles.

The role focuses on developing preventive maintenance programs, collaborating with plant leadership and unions, and delivering measurable reductions in unplanned downtime, with minimal travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10 years manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and interfacing with plant leadership and unionized staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Maintenance Team as they maximize reliability of plant equipment.
• Be leader of professional maintenance oriented improvement projects moving us from reactive at times to proactive.
• Incorporate World Class Manufacturing techniques and principles into all maintenance systems.
• Develop and maintain a proactive preventative maintenance program focused on reducing unplanned machine down time.
• Develop solid working relationships across all plant personnel.
• Minimal travel required.

This position is based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, known for incredible fishing, hunting, and variety of outdoor activities.
