Job summary

Gestamp is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across production equipment and facility systems. You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, drive reliability improvements, and manage maintenance resources to shift the plant toward a proactive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are planned, scheduled, completed, documented, and tracked for effectiveness.
  • Establish processes to address overdue or deferred maintenance and escalate risks as needed.
  • Partner with Production to coordinate maintenance schedules and planned downtime.
  • Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
  • Maintain equipment history and use data to support maintenance and capital improvement decisions.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory, crib management, and critical spare strategies while controlling costs.
  • Lead maintenance planning and scheduling across all shifts to optimize labor, parts, and contractor resources.
  • Communicate equipment risks, maintenance priorities, and performance metrics to plant leadership.
  • Provide technical leadership for robotic welding systems, stamping presses, E-coat lines, conveyors, automated production equipment, and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, utility, and facility systems.
  • Lead and develop maintenance teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Maintenance Manager leads all maintenance operations to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of production equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for developing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance programs, driving equipment reliability, managing maintenance resources, and transitioning the plant from a reactive to a proactive maintenance culture.

Key Responsibilities
