Job summary

IFCO SYSTEMS in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Maintenance Manager to drive operational excellence across wash processes, maximize machine efficiency, and plan preventive maintenance within the service center. You will partner with the General Manager to guide local maintenance staff and ensure safe, cost-effective operation of plant and wash equipment.

The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic expertise, extensive maintenance leadership experience in high-volume

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications; automation background is a plus.
• Minimum of 10+ years of maintenance experience in high-volume production, agricultural production, or distribution facility.
• Experience working with multiple high-volume 24-hour production/warehouse environments.
• Safety program management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support the preventative maintenance program at the local facility.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling to reduce downtime while maintaining safe practices.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and provide technical support to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain and monitor the PDM system, including troubleshooting, updates, and hardware installations.
• Support the General Manager with equipment analysis and cost-effective operation recommendations.
• Execute CAPEX projects within approved budgets and timelines.
• Direct and support maintenance staff to install, maintain, and repair equipment; uphold good housekeeping.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and monitor machine downtime.
• Train and develop maintenance personnel.
