Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the activities of the maintenance staff in our Texas facility. You will oversee training, employee development, performance evaluations, and hiring decisions while setting goals and performance objectives for the department.

You will continually evaluate processes to maximize resources, manage the department budget, supervise repairs on production equipment, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with NOV policies and HSE procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Internal promotion with technical work experience at manager’s level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance staff training and development.
• Develop and monitor department KPI’s and budgets.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance on production equipment and facility machinery.
• Ensure compliance with NOV policies and HSE procedures.
• Prepare departmental reports and optimize resource use.

Primary Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development,

performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.

• Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.

• Manage budget and expenditures.
• Oversee emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Determine, monitor and measure department KPI’s.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

• Responsible for all repairs and maintenance on facility machinery and equipment.
• Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
