Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Tipp City, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Dairy Manufacturing campus. You will lead facility maintenance, manage capital projects and drive improvements to safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, experience with ESL/aseptic equipment, and strong skills in MS Office and AutoCAD. You will manage a team, work with corporate staff, and ensure compliance with SQF, FDA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading manufacturing-related capital projects, including oversight and execution.
• Prior experience with ESL and/or Aseptic filling equipment required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Auto CAD.
• Experience managing capital projects.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to follow all Sanitation and Quality Policies and Procedures, and report and follow through on any deficiencies.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction in facility maintenance and capital expenditures.
• Ensure production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds are maintained 24/7.
• Collaborate with plant management and corporate staff to improve safety, quality, equipment reliability and OEE.
• Support and promote maintenance and engineering standards to comply with SQF, FDA and OSHA.
• Utilize a CMMS to optimize asset utilization through preventive maintenance.
• Develop, report and analyze maintenance KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Stay current with industry regulations for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Adhere to corporate policies in capital projects and daily maintenance.
• Strictly manage maintenance budget.
• Provide management of employees to ensure performance.
