Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a highly automated material handling environment. You will drive reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement of conveyors, sortation, automation controls, and facility systems.

You will supervise technicians and vendors, oversee preventive maintenance programs, and ensure OSHA and safety compliance. The role requires strong leadership, troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, military experience, and certifications will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in conveyors/material handling.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams.
  • Oversee maintenance of conveyors, sortation systems, automation equipment, PLCs, VFDs, robotics, electrical systems.
  • Manage HVAC, plumbing, lighting, utilities, and building systems.
  • Drive preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance programs.
  • Troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze KPIs and reliability metrics for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, service contracts, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ensure OSHA/environmental/safety compliance including lockout/tagout.
  • Lead safety investigations and corrective actions.
  • Develop standards, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Support capital projects and facility improvements.
