Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC - A57 is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across the site, develop maintenance programs, and drive safety and continuous improvement. You will mentor Area Maintenance Managers, manage budgets, coordinate with operations, and respond to emergencies with decisive action.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, 4+ years in leadership, CMMS experience, and strong cost management. Domestic travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of CMMS experience.
• 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 4+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, RCA, and CI experience.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Manager, you will transform workplace environments by leading maintenance operations across your site and developing the next generation of maintenance leaders. In this critical role, you'll oversee Area Maintenance Managers and their teams, develop strategic maintenance programs, and drive operational excellence across multiple functional areas. You will blend strategic planning, financial management, and leadership development while navigating between managing preventative maintenance programs, coordinating with operations teams, and responding to emergencies that require quick, decisive action. You'll balance proactive planning with real-time problem resolution while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key job responsibilities

• You will provide leadership and mentorship to Area Maintenance Managers and their teams of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance
• You will develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage department budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• You will ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all operational sites while partnering with site Safety leadership to implement and audit safety programs
• You will manage capital spending plans, facilitate cross-functional project planning, perform cost analysis, and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards
• You will travel domestically up to 15% to support network-level initiatives and provide guidance across multiple sites

Basic Qualifications

• - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
• - 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• - 4+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• - 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
• - 4+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
• - 4+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• - Master's degree, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• - Experience leading network level/multi-site maintenance organizations
• - Professional Engineer License
• - Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators
• - Experience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systems
• - Experience in project management
• - Experience with statistical analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
