Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Glendale, AZ to oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for plant, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems across the portfolio. You will collaborate with Facility Managers, Site Directors, customers, and vendors to optimize uptime, safety, and energy efficiency while managing budgets and change control.

• Experience leading preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in data-center environments.
• Ability to manage facility plant, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance and project work with Facility Leaders.
• Develop preventive maintenance calendar for all facilities.
• Oversee maintenance notifications for preventive, contracted, and general maintenance activities.
• Partner with customers and vendors to ensure contract compliance.
• Review vendor reports and inspection records to identify faulty equipment and document findings.
• Support energy management and operational programs for critical facilities.
• Manage new asset integration and change control approvals.
• Review and approve internal change requests and SOPs for maintenance purposes.
• Evaluate, assign, and monitor maintenance efforts of in‑house and contractor PMs.
• Continuously evaluate building systems to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support tours, fit-outs, events, sustainability and audits.

As Maintenance Manager, you will manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for plant, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment across all facility properties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Facility Managers and Site Directors to schedule maintenance and project work.
• Develop and manage the preventive maintenance calendar for all facilities.
• Generate, distribute, and oversee notifications for preventive, contracted, and general maintenance activities.
• Foster partnerships with customers and vendors, enforcing contracts and ensuring compliance.
• Review vendor reports and inspection records to identify faulty equipment and provide necessary documentation to FM/Director.
• Facilitate mechanical/electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for critical facilities.
• Manage new asset integration from internal projects, ensuring change control approvals and execution.
• Review and approve change requests, MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for all preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assist in reviewing and approving internal change requests and SOPs for maintenance purposes.
• Evaluate, assign, and monitor maintenance efforts of in‑house and contractor PMs.
• Continuously evaluate building systems to ensure efficient operations.
• Partner with internal departments to support sales tours, customer fit‑outs, events, sustainability, safety initiatives, capital projects, and audits.
• Assist in client‑based and internal audits for the facility(s). Prepare necessary documentation and schedule with onsite staff.
• Assist in managing and forecasting OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, and government directives for building operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and conduct safe work responsibilities for employees and contractors.
• Assist in managing and forecasting electrical and mechanical capacity.
• Lead culture coaching through mentoring personnel in career and personal development.
• Serve as primary technical resource for building specifics in all operational facets.
• Drive continuous improvement of Aligned’s processes for innovation.
