PPG's Strongsville, Ohio plant is seeking a Maintenance Manager who will lead maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable plant equipment and facilities. You will supervise a maintenance workforce, coach team members, and drive preventive and corrective maintenance, balancing safety with productivity.

Based at the Strongsville site, you will report to the Plant Manager, participate in cost control and budgeting, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining compliance with EHS procedures

Qualificações

• High school diploma; degree in science or technical area preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of supervisor experience, including training.
• Experience with technical problem solving and scheduling/planning of maintenance.
• Excellent communication, management and supervisory skills.
• Union supervisory experience is a plus.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will create a safe work environment for employees while maintaining the reliability of the plant equipment and facilities through systemic preventative/corrective maintenance, problem solving, and correcting unplanned breakdowns. You will supervise the maintenance workforce and provide coaching for their growth and improvement.
