We are seeking a hands‑on, highly accountable Maintenance Manager to lead our property maintenance operations from the ground up. You’ll elevate our operations, build the right team, and create a culture we’re proud of — ensuring work gets done quickly and right the first time.
You’re comfortable hiring, coaching, scheduling, and developing your team while staying hands‑on enough to jump in when it matters. An active California CSLB Class B-2 Contractor License is required, along with the ability to serve as the company’s Responsible Managing Employee (RME). This role supports a scattered‑site portfolio - primarily condos, single‑family houses and small apartment buildings - spanning multiple locations.
Success in this role means building a maintenance operation that is efficient, reliable, and scalable.
Position Details: This is a full‑time, salaried (exempt) position (40+ hours/week), 8:30am–5pm PST, Monday–Friday. This position is hybrid — in‑office and remote/field service.
Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience.
Incentive Compensation: Additional incentive compensation will be included in addition to base compensation, based on operational performance.

Physical Requirements: The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods. The employee is regularly required to push, move, lift, or otherwise bear 50+ lbs., and must be able to operate a vehicle daily and travel between multiple properties.
Work Environment: This role works primarily in the field, traveling between residential properties, job sites, and occasional office settings, both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role may involve additional environmental factors such as heat, chemical, electrical, flammable, or mechanical hazards.
