Plans, directs, and manages all maintenance operations across two facilities. Oversees multiple
shifts of maintenance technicians in each building and coordinates activities related to the
installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery, equipment, and building systems.
Ensures operational efficiency, safety compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement of
maintenance functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Directly supervises employees in the maintenance department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The production area temperatures can fluctuate significantly based on the time of year. The noise levels can be moderate to high. The use of hearing protection and safety eyewear is required while on production floor. The use of additional specific safety equipment may be required. The noise level in the office is usually quiet. The noise level in production is usually moderate.
Must have the ability to work all shift schedules, periodic overtime and be available for periodic weekend work.
