Century Mold Co. in Middletown, OH is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for our molding facilities.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and safety compliance, coordinating with engineering and operations to minimize downtime and control costs. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and 4–10 years of related experience, with strong knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and building management systems, and proficiency with Work Order

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with related maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and building management systems.
  • Experience with MTBF and OEE metrics is preferred.

  • Lead maintenance activities to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate repair and installation of machines and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.
  • Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position.
  • Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies, as well as enforce the compliance and implementation of each through subordinates.
  • Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time; ensures that the Attendance Policy is enforced consistently through subordinates.
  • Develops and maintains work orders to determine work priorities.
  • Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing ones.
  • Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
  • Develops and maintains preventive maintenance program for all machines and equipment, along with buildings and grounds.
  • Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
  • Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
  • Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and affect greater utilization of labor and materials.

  • Reviews new product plans and discusses equipment needs and modifications with engineering.
  • Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
  • Directs training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures
  • Confers with management, engineering and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Expertise in hydraulics, electronics, tooling, automotive repair; building management system knowledge; familiar with standard maintenance metrics such as MTBF and OEE; Mold Flow SPC Data.

Computer Skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to learn new software as needed; Work Order software.
