Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, improve equipment reliability, and support a fast-paced production environment. The role requires leading technicians, prioritizing downtime issues, and driving accountability while engaging with plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, troubleshooting ability, and experience in regulated industrial manufacturing environments, including ammonia refrigeration systems and PSM

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing, food production, chemical, or industrial processing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of PSM programs and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting of industrial equipment and plant systems.
• Experience with PM systems, inventory/spare parts management, and maintenance planning.
• Ability to communicate with plant leadership and maintenance staff.
• Experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, motors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and maintain PSM-related programs and procedures.
• Oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel while building accountability within the department.
