Job summary

As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll manage, lead, and coordinate activities for your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and endorse safety and operating standards. Coach, train, and develop your team members while maintaining daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work. You’ll foster a safe work environment, ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met. Lead by example as you oversee the proper management of the day‑to‑day operational environmental issues.

  • Develop vision needed to lead and oversee maintenance support to factory operational equipment, as well as general facility maintenance.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department to maintain equipment at the highest practical level through continuous improvement of the maintenance systems, as well as leadership within the facility’s continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work with team members to develop the most cost‑effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities to achieve factory maintenance budget.
  • Establish departmental goals and objectives to maintain a low cost high efficient operation.
  • Develop and implement innovative technical ideas and solutions for improved production efficiencies to reduce operating cost.
  • Complete planning and budgeting for maintenance activities including extraordinary maintenance as well as annual budget for labor, repair materials, and outside contractors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in a maintenance planning or reliability focused role within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 3+ years of supervisory experience

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, industrial services, military or related within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 1+ years of supervisory experience

The approximate range for this position is $107,000 - $156,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
