Job summary

Areas USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Austin, TX to lead building upkeep, manage internal and external maintenance tasks, and supervise warehouse operations. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction through timely and professional maintenance support.

You will oversee electrical, plumbing, and furniture repairs, manage vendors and PM contracts, and ensure proper invoicing and approvals. A valid driver’s license and ability to badge for airport access are required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with basic food service equipment and maintenance functions.
• Proficient in electrical, plumbing, and equipment repair.
• At least 1 year of building maintenance experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Brand certification as required (can obtain).
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk extended distances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools and equipment, clean and organize storage areas.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and furniture maintenance repairs.
• Oversee outside repair vendors and manage PM contracts.
• Process invoices and ensure approvals before work begins.
• Open, ongoing, and closing checklists; report issues to GM.
• Support warehouse operations and stock management.

Job Title: Maintenance ManagerDepartment: OperationsReports To: Director of Airport OperationsStatus: Non-ExemptSalary:Broad Responsibility: To repair and maintain all aspects of the building. These tasks are to be performed in a timely and professional manner to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction.Main Duties & Responsibilities:1. Understand that our guest is our #1 priority.2. Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner (where applicable).3. Maintain any and all tools and equipment needed to do the job. This includes cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all storage closets and work areas.4. Responsible for minor equipment repairs, electrical, plumbing and furniture maintenance.5. Follows all security guidelines for outside repair company personnel including checking of airport badges or responsibility for escorting non-badged repair personnel on premises.6. Responsible for progress of outside repair personnel.7. Must maintain vendor relations, including PM contracts, and follow all procedures regarding maintenance schedules. Also includes checking integrity of vendor pricing for all parts, labor, etc. listed on estimates and/or invoices.8. Responsible for delivery of all invoices to be paid directly to Admin Manager as work is completed.9. Responsible for receiving and providing project repair estimates as required by General Manager of the property. All work needs to be approved by GM before starting repairs.10. Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.11. Inform the manager immediately of new building maintenance issues.12. Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.13. Return all items used during your shift to the proper place, clean and organize all work and storage areas.14. Meet with manager upon arrival to discuss shift set-up and check out with manager before leaving to ensure duties are completed.15. In charge of the warehouse16. Monitors and measures Receiving and Warehouse performance for accuracy of locator, receiving reporting, movement and storage of material, and transfers of Service Parts Fill requisitions or other stock items and distributes items to restaurants.17.
