Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a vehicle operations associate at our Miami airport location. The role supports fleet readiness by moving vehicles, stocking lots, and ensuring vehicles are visible and accessible for rental customers.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided, and safety comes first in all weather conditions. You will document vehicle status on a handheld device, assist with parking lot organization, and help deliver smooth, efficient customer service at the point

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk/sit/kneel for long periods.
• This is an on-site role and cannot be performed remotely.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Move fleet vehicles efficiently within lots or between locations and update vehicle status on a handheld device.

Your work helps ensure vehicles are in the right place, lots are well organized, and customers experience a smooth and efficient rental process.

What You'll Do:

Your primary responsibility will be moving fleet vehicles efficiently within our lots or between designated locations as needed. You will inventory vehicles, enter vehicle status into a handheld device, and help keep parking areas organized, safe, and tidy.

By accurately tracking and positioning vehicles, your work supports fleet readiness and helps ensure customers can get on the road quickly and confidently.

• Bi-weekly hourly wage (New York and Puerto Rico: weekly wage)

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to work outdoors, near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels, and drive vehicles in all weather conditions
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; continuously stand, walk, sit and kneel frequently; and enter, exit, and drive a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
