Job description

Maintenance Line Technician

The Maintenance Line Technician supports all production equipment and production lines, while adhering to all safety standards.

Hours for this role are Wed-Sat 5am-3:30pm.

Compensation Range: $26.57 - $33 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities
  • Safety: Demonstrate understanding of GMPs, maintain a safe workspace, follow safety rules, wear PPE, and complete safety training.
  • Maintenance: Manage time effectively, build documentation, program VFDs, troubleshoot PLCs, train colleagues, support production, collaborate with vendors, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment, use shop tools, build PM procedures, follow maintenance processes, and maintain records.
  • Quality: Understand SQF Level 3, ensure food safety and quality, report questionable products.
  • Teamwork: Support company values, foster a positive environment, accept work instructions, provide input, train others, and perform other duties.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead projects, participate in new equipment installations, and pursue training.
  • Standard Work Processes: Repair and maintain equipment, develop maintenance principles, ensure timely repairs, and complete documentation.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Outlook
  • Efficient time and workload management
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and logic
  • Knowledge of pneumatic components and circuits
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with CMMS or similar
  • 5 years' maintenance experience or 2 years' plus technical degree
