Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Vero Beach, FL is hiring for a Maintenance - Level I. The role involves HVAC repairs, plumbing, carpentry, irrigation, groundskeeping, and other maintenance tasks. You’ll work with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold quality maintenance standards and ensure a safe, clean community.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of related experience. Valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and on-call availability are

• 1–3 years of direct technical work experience in irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work with maintenance team to keep property clean, safe and appealing.
• Attend morning staff meetings to coordinate daily work and vendor appointments.
• Communicate with management and staff on special maintenance projects.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, and remove trash and debris.
• Report maintenance issues to management and perform repairs.
• Move equipment and drive maintenance trucks as needed.
• Monitor inventory and supplies; assist with other duties as assigned.
