Atlas in Wichita seeks a Level 1 technician to perform basic preventive maintenance, electrical tasks, and routine repairs on site. You will document daily results, coordinate with contractors, and use mobile devices to track work orders.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with related maintenance or manufacturing experience, plus Vo-Tech training. Forklift and scissor lift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1 year of related maintenance or manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination.
• Specialized Vo-Tech training in a maintenance-related field is preferred.
• Experience operating industrial equipment and performing basic mechanical/electrical tasks is expected.

Responsabilités

• Performs basic preventative maintenance.
• Performs coolant management, refractometer assessments and adjustments, and documents daily the results of each machine.
• Performs basic machine repairs, including one-for-one replacement parts and/or motors, switches, pumps, and brings equipment back to functionality.
• Performs basic electrical tasks for facility and machinery.
• Pulls communication and/or video cables.
• Coordinates and instructs contractors on site and provides support as needed.
• Documents and reports activities in daily logs or during daily crew meetings.
• Uses iPad to retrieve work assignments, document actions, maintain daily activity, and submits for review.
• Ensures all maintenance tasks are completed to professional standards efficiently.

Overview

Responsible for and capable of performing all of the duties of a Level 1 technician. This position is capable of performing higher level tasks with little to no direction by performing the following duties.

• Performs basic preventative maintenance.
• Performs coolant management, refractometer assessments and adjustments, and documents daily the results of each machine.
• Performs basic machine repairs, which includes 1 for 1 replacement parts and/or motors, switches, pumps, and brings back to functionality.
• Performs basic electrical both facility and machine.
• Pulls communication and/or video cables.
• Demonstrates the ability to coordinate and give instruction to contractors when on site as well as provide support as needed.
• Documents and reports any activity as required in daily logs or verbally communicated in daily crew meetings.
• Uses iPad to retrieve work assignments, document action taken, maintain daily activity, and submits for review.
• Ensures all maintenance tasks are completed to professional standards in the most effective and efficient manner.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of related maintenance or manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Training:
