Property Maintenance Lead Technician

A growing nationwide Property Management company is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Lead Technician for a Luxury Apartment Community in the Seattle, WA 98108 area. This is a new property, with opportunities for promotion to Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Provide hands-on support and participate in maintenance activities, motivating the team to perform effectively.
• Contribute to achieving occupancy goals by managing maintenance workflow to ensure a quality living experience.
• Recent experience of 2+ years in Multi-Family Housing; experience with Luxury Apartment Communities is a plus.
• Responsibilities include general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Experience in apartment turnover, budget management, and vendor relations.
• Assist in administering capital and operating maintenance budgets to meet financial goals.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to meet asset quality standards.
• Implement process efficiencies and continuous improvements.
• Manage inventory of parts and appliances.
• Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of community facilities, including gym and common areas.
• Direct daily apartment repairs and renovations, and assist with special projects.
• Promote positive relations with residents through professional and consistent interactions.
• Ensure high-quality living experiences, especially during move-in and move-out processes.
• Introduce new residents to apartment procedures.
• Stay informed about property conditions affecting maintenance.
• Handle after-hours and emergency on-call duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications

• Recent experience in property management maintenance is required.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment handling.
• Computer literacy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
