Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the physical upkeep of apartment communities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of units, grounds, and common areas.

You will diagnose, repair, and complete work orders, coordinate with vendors, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards while supporting cost-control initiatives. This on-site role requires flexibility and a commitment to Greystar safety policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform preventive/predictive maintenance per policy and code.
• Familiarity with hand tools, safety standards, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead/perform work orders for resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and punch lists with vendors.
• Maintain inventory and source supplies, track usage and returns.
• Ensure inspections via platforms and complete documentation accurately.
