Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties is hiring a Maintenance Lead in Pacifica, California. The role leads the maintenance team to meet company standards, supervise daily work, and coordinate preventative tasks across the property.

You will oversee budgeting, manage on-call emergencies, and ensure responsive, courteous service to residents and guests while maintaining community facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of direct technical work experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
  • Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of maintenance staff and ensure safety and quality.
  • Review and delegate work orders promptly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and document findings in a maintenance log.
  • Inspect property and monitor equipment (water heaters, HVAC, etc.).
  • Assist with annual budget planning and capital expenditures.
  • Respond to guest concerns and maintain professional communication.
  • Provide on-call emergency maintenance as needed.
