Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Automation Engineering support professional to design, analyze, modify, and integrate robotics, automation, and tooling for programs and products. You will develop and test preventive maintenance plans and assist in documenting engineering changes to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Lead a technician team, coordinate tasks, and drive continuous improvement while interfacing with engineering and operations to support deployments across our manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on maintenance leadership in a manufacturing/automation environment.
• Experience coordinating technicians and managing complex maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance.

Job Summary

Under general direction, support the automation engineering department to designs, analyzes, modifies, and integrates robotics, automation, technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products. Develops, implements, and tests preventative maintenance plans, interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment, and tooling. Support investigates and documents engineering changes and controls equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with standard operating procedures. Assistant develops and recommends equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.

Education & Experience

Typical requires +8 years of experience Typically Technician level education, abel to team lead / coordinate group of people.
