Job summary

Trex Company is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader in Arkansas to oversee safety inspections, equipment reliability, and maintenance planning within a manufacturing facility. You will lead technicians, coordinate daily repairs, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime and safe operations.

The role requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance leadership, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to Trex safety standards.

• Maintain records and equipment repair information as needed.
• Maintain acceptable housekeeping within the maintenance department.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor daily on maintenance activities and requirements.
• Ensure effective employee relations and teamwork within the maintenance department
• Monitor team performance to ensure satisfactory completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
• Schedule and manage repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, and vendor service of equipment on a daily basis.
• Lead Maintenance Technician training syllabus process and help develop Maintenance Technicians’ technical competence.
• Assist in developing adequate standard operating procedures and standard work operations.
• Communicate with the parts department admin on parts procurements and spare equipment inventory status.
• Effectively assign Maintenance Technician time to complete work orders, utilizing the JDE CMMS work order system.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance program.
• Attend operations and strategic meetings in the absence of Maintenance Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $45.14 per hour

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
