Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Maintenance Lead to repair CNC and welding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role involves leading maintenance technicians, ensuring high asset reliability, and using a CMMS for efficient operations.

Candidate will have 5+ years in CNC maintenance, be proficient with blueprints/schematics, and able to troubleshoot complex issues. Onsite work in Milwaukee, WI with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in CNC maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication a plus.
• Manufacturing background required.
• Ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of CNC machines, press brakes, powder coating lines, welding cells, and other equipment.
• Leading and training maintenance technicians.
• Maintaining asset reliability to a high standard.
• Utilizing a CMMS for efficient maintenance and repair operations.
• Equipment lubrication, filter changes and standard preventative maintenance.
• Equipment troubleshooting in machine breakdown situations.
• Highlighting faults or damage to machines, guarding or tooling.
• Working closely with machine operators to identify issues before failure.
• Utilizing safe work practices.

Overview:

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking motivated Maintenance Lead to repair CNC & welding machines. Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of various CNC machines, Press Brakes, powder coating lines, welding cells, and other equipment


• Leading and training maintenance technicians


• Maintaining asset reliability to a high standard


• Utilizing a CMMS for enabling efficient maintenance and repair operations


• Equipment lubrication, filter changes and standard preventative maintenance


• Equipment troubleshooting in machine breakdown situations


• Highlighting any faults or damage to the machine, guarding or tooling


• Working closely with machine operators to identify potential issues prior to failure


• Utilizing safe work practices

Requirements:

• Computer literate


• Ability to set priorities for manpower in fast-paced environment


• Manufacturing experience


• Able to read blueprints and schematics


• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve


• Must be highly motivated

• Must pass competency test, and pre-employment physical including drug screen


• 5+ of experience with machine maintenance in a CNC environment


• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication a plus


• Experience in troubleshooting, dismantling, and repairing a variety of machinery including CNC equipment


• Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenanced>
  
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints, schematics, and documentation.
