Ranew's Companies in Davenport, IA is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for a new liquid paint line. You will contribute to maintenance planning and ensure equipment readiness in a brand-new facility with modern equipment and tools.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, with vendor coordination and safety-first practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.
• Experience with industrial coating or paint production is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must follow safety rules and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Survey building and repair mechanical systems to health/safety standards.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing maintenance on facility equipment.
• Conduct repairs on down equipment.
• Maintain and update maintenance records for all equipment.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for maintenance supplies and tools.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and floor scrubbers.
• Assist with lab support and system cleanouts.
• Participate in budget planning with Plant Manager.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance.
• Provide on-call support and emergency line-down response.

Now Hiring - Maintenance Lead

Ranew's Companies is looking for an experienced Maintenance Lead to join our growing team in Davenport, IA.

This Maintenance Lead position will have the incredible opportunity to support our new industrial liquid paint line's design, installation, and maintenance planning. Work in a brand-new facility with new equipment, new tools, and an environment that will allow you the freedom to lay the groundwork for all things plant and system maintenance moving forward.

This position will be responsible for undertaking and preserving the excellent condition and functionality of the facility and equipment. The Maintenance Lead will perform preventative and critical maintenance tasks on all equipment, machinery, and facility-related activities as required. The position is also responsible for maintaining, ordering, and working with our partner vendors for all facility & maintenance supplies.

Location: Davenport, IA

Starting Pay: $24 - $26 / hour

Maintenance Lead Responsibilities

• Survey building and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing) to all facility equipment and tools to keep all facility equipment functioning correctly.
• Conduct repairs on down equipment.
• Problem-solving, critical thinking skills & be proactive in preventing obstacles.
• Conduct regular cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Keep up-to-date maintenance records on all equipment.
• Assists with maintenance employee training and assessments.
• Working with 3rd party vendors for ordering, maintaining, and purchasing maintenance and facility-related products and tools.
• Utilize Appropriate systems and tools to communicate and record progress on job duties.
• Operate Fork Trucks, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, and Floor scrubbers.
• Perform mobile equipment training and certifications observations.
• Assist with lab support and any systems, tanks, and equipment cleanouts.
• Maintain the safety of the facility and equipment per company policies and report any potential safety issues to management.
• Participate in monthly and annual budget planning with Plant Manager.
• Demonstrate proper discretion when ordering shop tools and equipment.
• Dictate tasks, goals, and projects to other maintenance team members (document).
• Wear designated PPE.
• Bending, standing, and lifting required.
• Good communication skills and follow-up.
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
• Support facility with On-call situations and emergency line-down activities.

Maintenance Lead Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience (5+ years) or comparable maintenance experience in multiple areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Pipefitting, and Welding
• Previous Industrial coating or paint production experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience with 2KE & 2KS Paint Systems is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge and demonstrated track record of following safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to work with computer software programs and proficiency in using all Microsoft applications.
• Must be able to lift parts up to 50 lbs.
