Job summary

Jobappnetwork is seeking a Maintenance / Janitorial Person to perform light to medium duty maintenance and janitorial tasks at a convenience store. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, fuel dispensers, ovens, and equipment, and keeping the property tidy and safe.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pass a background check and UST operator training, and maintain transport reliability. Working hours are hourly with eligibility for health insurance after probation.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass Underground Storage Tank Operator training.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work in walk-in coolers and freezers for up to 10 minutes.
• Must be willing to come in early monthly to clean ovens before opening.

Responsibilities

• General store maintenance and upkeep including hosing parking lots, changing trash, and restocking shelves.
• Clean fuel dispensers, condensers, and restroom areas; replace lights and towels as needed.
• Assist with stocking grocery orders and putting away freezer orders; clean ovens and other food service equipment.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal and yard cleanup; maintain cleanliness of fuel islands and surrounding property.

Maintenance / Janitorial Person

Light to medium duty maintenance and janitorial work of a convenience store.

Duties include: general store maintenance, hosing of parking lots, changing trash, replacing window washer fluid and towels, shoveling sidewalks in the winter, cleaning fuel dispensers, cleaning condensers, changing lights, helping stock grocery orders, helping put away freezer orders, cleaning ovens and other food service equipment, cleaning restrooms, cleaning filters, occasional mowing and pulling weeds, picking up trash and litter on property, stocking the cooler, cleaning shelves, etc. Overall cleanliness and organization of the fuel islands and stores are key. Bathroom cleaning is also mandatory.

Will be paid hourly. Health insurance available after probationary period.
