Job summary

Sterling Engineering, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Inventory Clerk in Swedesboro, NJ on a contract basis (3-9 months). The role focuses on managing spare parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting maintenance and production operations using CMMS and Excel.

The ideal candidate has experience in storeroom operations, material management, and strong organizational skills. On-site work with a structured shift from 6am to 2:30pm; wage is $25–28 per hour plus benefits for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in inventory control, storeroom operations, procurement, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance inventory, spare parts, and material availability to support equipment reliability.
• Coordinate receiving, stocking, material movement, and inventory transactions within the maintenance storeroom.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using CMMS and other inventory management tools.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
