Real Property Management Affiliates is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to service hundreds of homes and apartment complexes. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repairs, conduct property evaluations, and log work orders with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance, 2+ years in industrial settings, a valid driver's license, and own iPhone with basic tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Own iPhone and basic hand tools.
• Strong communication skills and bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance systems.
• Conduct turnover maintenance, property evaluations and preventive maintenance.

Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:

• Equipment & Property Maintenance: Apply your maintenance experience to perform repairs, including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance. Conduct turnover maintenance, property evaluations, and repairs to keep properties in top condition.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues in household systems and appliances, drawing on your maintenance background to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs.
• Customer Service Excellence: Interact with professionally, maintaining a polished appearance and a positive demeanor. A smile is part of your uniform!
• Proactive Improvement: Identify opportunities for property enhancements during work orders, contributing to satisfaction and property value.
• Documentation & Reporting: Use digital tools to log work orders, track progress, and communicate findings effectively.

What It Takes to Succeed:

• Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in maintenance, with skills in troubleshooting and repairing household systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with maintenance trades (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC) and the ability to apply maintenance techniques to residential settings.
• Customer Focus: Patience and strong communication skills to explain technical details to and team members in an accessible way.
• Reliability & Integrity: Punctual, honest, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Digital Literacy: Comfortable using a smartphone for work order management and reporting.
• Requirements:
