Job summary

Mclane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance III to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems in our distribution center.

You’ll work with PLCs, CAD drawings, and MP2/DataStream tools, maintain refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, and safety systems; the role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance and conveyors experience.

Qualifications

  • Relevant technical degree or professional training in maintenance.
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • At least 4 years on conveyor and automatic sortation maintenance.
  • HVAC and welding certifications required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Experience with 480V/3-phase equipment and controls.
  • Knowledge of PLC and automated control systems.
  • Familiar with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Proficient with MP2/DataStream 7i/Maintenance Connection software.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, doors, and electrical systems.
  • Use PLCs and online apps to diagnose and troubleshoot automation issues.
  • Develop system modifications and procure resources for changes.
  • Weld and fabricate as required.
  • Research parts, tools, and technology for repairs.
  • Follow safety procedures to protect people and assets.

The Maintenance III teammate is an advanced mechanic who performs all aspects of troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems as well as general building maintenance support in the distribution center environment.

Pay Rate: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Maintenance III:
  • Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, dock doors, air systems, racking, CCTV, and interconnectivity cabling (PC/PLC/Server).
  • Use PLC and online applications to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot automation malfunctions.
  • Develop approved system modifications and procure resources needed to complete modifications.
  • Weld and fabricate as required.
  • Research parts, tools, and technology.
  • Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:
  • Relevant technical degree OR other professional training.
  • At least 5 years of professional industrial maintenance experience.
  • At least 4 years of conveyor and automatic sortation maintenance experience.
  • HVAC and welding certifications.
  • Read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Experience with 480V/3-phase industrial equipment and controls.
  • Knowledge of PLC and computerized controlled automated systems, equipment, and functions.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Basic computer skills as well as experience using a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
