Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Building Maintenance technician for the Facilities Team in Prescott Valley, AZ. The role focuses on basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and light electrician work within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical skills, welding experience, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You’ll join a team that emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills are required.
• Experience as an electrician is preferred.
• Experience in welding is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• PC and application experience (MS Office, CCTV, etc.).
• Flexibility with start/end times of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs such as patching and painting.
• Change out electrical motors and lighting; change ballasts as needed.
• Support with spills and custodial duties when required.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment (e.g., compactors, conveyors).

$21.30 - $26.10 per hour

Sunday - Thursday 2:30pm - 11:00pm

The Facilities Team has an opening in Building Maintenance. In Building Maintenance you will need to be capable of basic repairs such as patching, painting, changing out electrical motors and changing light bulbs which may include some electrical work to change ballasts. Experience in welding is preferred. The bulk of the work will be preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment including compactors and conveyors. May be required to assist with spills and custodial duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
